David Hyche

David and his wife, Tracy, are members of the Logan Martin Church of Christ in Pell City, Alabama. David and Tracy have three children: Hanna, Harrison & Hadley. Hanna attends Freed Hardeman University, Harrison attends Jeff State Community College, and Hadley attends Central Alabama Family Christian School.

David graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 1988 and has worked for three companies (RUST Engineering, Enercon & KBR). David is a licensed Professional Engineer in 19 states. KBR currently employs him, and he is the Birmingham office’s Electrical and Control Systems Engineering Department Manager. David has worked on multiple building projects at Backwoods, been the “maintenance man” during week-long camp sessions, and served as one of the June Bug directors for 15 years. He enjoys woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his wife.
