Lauren Warren

My name is Lauren Warren and I am a stay at home mom.  I grew up in Hoover, AL and currently live in Indian Springs, AL.  My husband Daniel and I have been married since 2010 and attend the Hoover Church of Christ.  We have four kids, Emma Kate, Scott, Bromleigh, and Leighton.  I enjoy volunteering my time at church, our kids’ schools, community activities, and of course working at camp.

I have been on the board for Backwoods Christian Camp since 2016.  I love working to help grow and improve camp so that it can continue to reach kids for many years to come! I haven’t always been a “camp” type of girl.  But my senior year of high school, Backwoods changed that for me!  I have been involved with camp for 16 years now and have been everything from a camper, to counselor, occasional cook, that one (and only) time I was camp nurse, and now board member.  I love getting away from our busy schedules and enjoy a week of singing, Bible classes, crafts, sports (can’t forget the water slide), spending time with some of our closest friends and most importantly teaching kids the importance of following Christ and showing others His love.    It’s a great thing to watch how much a week of camp can change a person’s life.
